The price is good and and view is so amazing with the beautiful blue ocean . The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the staff was amazing. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting downtown Kangaroo island Thank you Dhea and Family for an excellent stay. You guys were professional in every way. Accommodation and food was of the highest standard specially the Dinner that is so amazing and a wonderful experience for us. Looking forward to booking with you again.

The owner of the property was very humble and a very nice person He helped us with planning our itinerary for kangaroo Island. Very nice person to talk to. The room was pretty good.. with patio and sea facing room. We were 4 people in one room.. .the room was spacious, clean. , a very comfortable stay. Woukd recommend staying here. They have an Indian restaurant at the hotel as well. , unfortunately was closed during out stay. But the owner did help us with arranging dinner for the night

Fabulous spot at the western end of Kangaroo Island - a perfect base for exploring Flinders Chase National Park. Within 2 minutes of arriving, we spotted our first Koala in a tree right by the office. The owners are friendly and helpful and really make sure you feel at home. The camp kitchen is one of the best we have seen in any caravan park in Australia. There is a selection of essential food (and wine) at the little onsite shop and it's reasonably priced.

Absolutely beautiful apartment, comfy beds and such a stunning view! Ellie provided us with all the information and some extra tourist recommendations prior to our stay. Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to stay in Kangaroo Island. Super quick drive from the ferry and easy drive to all other locations around the island. Apartment stayed super warm at night, really comfy beds and again, such a beautiful view of sunset and sunrise over the ocean.

This was a great place for the two of us while we explored Kangaroo Island. One of the challenges when finding accommodation on KI, is that many non-hotel rentals are larger properties for families. There are just the 2 of us travelling and this place was ideal for our 3 night stay. We liked the peace and quiet and yet it was just over 5 mins to Kingscote. The property is new and is well maintained with everything we needed.

The location is perfect, we had a few short days to explore the island, so being situated 1minute from the ferry terminal was a massive bonus! The room had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, it is basic, but you are visiting Kangaroo Island for its magic, not a fancy room! The hotel staff were very helpful, get them to book the ferry for you as they get a 10% discount!

The apartment was great, conveniently located to the Kingscote shopping centre. Beautifully furnished and equipped. We were very comfortable and would highly recommend Salty Air apartments to anyone holidaying on Kangaroo Island.

Overall we had a great time staying at the Aurora hotel. Friendly staff and service. Fantastic room service & good size family room. Beds were comfortable and clean. I Would say one of the best in kangaroo island.

Good location, live in the town of Kangaroo Island, surrounded by restaurants. I will choose this hotel on my next trip.

Clean, central and well decorated.

Location was close to all main amenities. Good views in a quiet location. All rooms good sizes and all essential items/equipment available. Very comfortable and relaxing stay. Allow yourself at least a week to fully explore at a comfortable pace and also unwind.
