We loved the size of the room (standard king) and how it was furnished. Bathroom was good even though shower cubicle (corner shower) very small so no good for a large person.
The location was great and also quiet in May.
We liked the large balcony and the sliding door for fresh air.
The large public sitting areas were very nice with views.

We loved this holiday home. It was spacious with lovely furnishings. With scenic Bay views, it was a lovely sea change for us. The spacious balcony was a delightful space to relax and enjoy the great outdoors.
The home was very well equipped and beyond our expectations. There was something for everyone. From a coffee machine to a well equipped space for children with board games and an upstairs space to spend some quiet time. We really had a very enjoyable stay.

We had the most beautiful stay with a couple of friends and our two dogs. Such a stunning property, and fully enclosed so I felt comfortable letting our dogs run around and keep themselves occupied. Would definitely stay here again
We stayed to visit mum in the nursing home in St Helens.
We stayed to visit mum in the nursing home in St Helens. We only live one & a half hours drive away and they made us feel most welcomed. We would have liked to stay an extra night and they tried to accommodate us but unfortunately they were fully booked out the following night. Queechy seems to be very popular as I have viewed booking in the past but they have always been booked out.

St Helens is a cute town on the east coast of Tasmania.
It is an ideal location to stay for a few days and venture into the interior and other interesting places to visit around the town.
Just don't eat at the RSL. I expected more seafood to be available.
Pick up some tasty take away from the special section at the front of the IGA in the mall.
Towns and cities have a strange idea about disability access.

Lovely town with great eateries.
Lovely town with great eateries. The IGA had a variety of salads, the larger one not the small on main road that offered fresh salads. Great board walk around the water.
The Tasman Holiday park was modern, good facilities, a view of the water and quiet. This was our first ever stay in one and we were impressed with the cabin and the price.

St Helen’s is the central services community for many nearby small holiday hamlets. It has good supermarkets and an excellent provedore plus restaurants and most of the service facilities a holiday maker would need. There are interesting and varied beaches in the area and plenty of boating & fishing for those who enjoy these pursuits. Plenty to like, we did not find anything to dislike.

St Helens is a pretty coastal town with a great bakery - Banjos! It is also the gateway to the Bay of Fires which is an absolutely stunning place, even had a swim in warmish - 19 degrees water st gorgeous Binalong Bay.
We loved our stay at this comfortable holiday home in St Helens. The house is big and was stocked with everything you could need, from kitchen appliances to board games. The hosts were extremely accomodating and replied promptly, even on Xmas eve. I'm not usually one to leave reviews, but we really enjoyed our stay here and everyone agreed that this was our favourite accomodation out of the 5 that we booked for our week long Tassie trip.
We really liked the location and the style of the accommodation.
It was nice that there was some tea bags & some sugar, together with a few other pantry items.
There was plenty of wood for the fire, however, we didn't use any.
I was surprised to see that the property had a sauna, but again, we didn't use it.
Good Wifi and reasonable phone reception.
St. Helens has the BEST french restaurant in town.... a "must" to try.
Fantastic accomodation with everything thought of. Plenty of comfort and room to move, including secure space front and back that the dog enjoyed. The food provisions were unexpected and whilst we used only little, were greatly appreciated. Good location for accessing the stunning surroundings of St Helens and Bay of Fires area. Highly recommend. Thankyou Sharon.
A perfect place to stop over while traveling through Tassie. Our host was great and paid attention to detail. We arrived late due to our plane, but a note was left for us, SMS was sent, phone calls were made - they really went out of their way to accommodate us. We are grateful.
Everything thus was a gem in our travel around Tasmania, highly recommend a stay here we could only book one night so suggest you book early. Close to attractions, great water view, comfortable couch easy access to free laundry facilities, good parking.
The location was amazing and the view of the bay incredible. The "Oystercatcher" 2 bed/bath unit was immaculate and had a wonderful kitchen. I would highly recommend this property. It is located near St. Helens and very close to Binnalong.
The room was clean and tastefully refurbished with everything well catered for. The location in the small town of St Helens was perfect with quality restaurants and cafes nearby and only a 15 minute drive from the Bay of Fires.
The spa was wonderful after driving for so long. The little touches like robes and slippers were so nice. Roomy apartment with everything you need. Free washing facilities were a great bonus. Highly recommend this hotel!
Great location (make sure you book a lake view room). Obviously an old hotel complex, and need of some refurbishment, but it had everything we needed and was very comfortable.
dinner breakfast also very good
Really friendly owner who was exceptionally welcoming and provided lots of wonderful tips for walks and eating. Went above and beyond to make our stay in St Helens fantastic.
The house was so big and beautiful. Location was fantastic with a view overlooking St Helens. We all loved the animals especially the emus who loved a feed and pat
The location was right on the water in the middle of downtown, a full service hotel with a restaurant, bar and casino. Lovely friendly and helpful staff
