We had good size studio with full kitchen and walkout door to the harbour and excellent view. The room was a bit outdated but functional and clean. The ambiance is very nice and relaxing in the yard, the rooms are cozy and well equipped a great place when away from home for work, I really feel comfortable. Thornbury is a quaint little village with a gorgeous waterfront and trails to explore. This little gem makes the whole experience perfect. Staying here for work makes working out of town seem like a little break.

One can feel the owner took a lot of thinking into the design of the rooms and the surrounding sitting areas. For people staying there for ski trips and trail walks, it is a good location. Thornbury is a very nice and quiet town. Great breakfast places within walking distance.

Despite of the hotel being almost full it is peaceful and quiet, as well as neighbourhood. Little park nearby at the shore. Great for families.

I would even go as far as say that many hotel have worse rooms than this place. Staff was also really helpful, for example provided us with a kettle upon request.
